In order to provide a more robust infrastructure, we are replacing the IP addresses used by our ingress controllers to serve applications deployed to our Swiss region. While for most applications this change is transparent and does not require any action, depending on the way custom domains are configured, an update to the respective DNS records is required.
Domains set up using A records instead of CNAME records will need to be updated to point to the following IP addresses:
- 159.100.246.236 (instead of 159.100.250.55) - 159.100.248.24 (instead of 159.100.250.85)
The status of the DNS configuration of each individual domain is shown on the control panel. The new IPs are already active and the above change is safe to be applied immediately.
The old IPs will continue to work for the time being. We are targeting a decommissioning date of mid-June 2022.
We are in the process of reaching out to affected customers individually but feel free to reach out to your support representative if you have any questions or require additional guidance.
